Dimasa depan, para penduduk bumi menciptakan sebuah kota di dasar bumi. Hal ini disebabkan karena lapisan udara di permukaan bumi dipenuhi racun, sehingga para penduduk berpindah hidup ke bawah dasar bumi. Walaupun mereka hidup dengan nyaman, dua remaja mencoba menjelajahi seperti apa dunia di permukaan bumi. Mereka berhadap akan sebuah kehidupan yang lebih baik di permukaan bumi.
