Anna harus mengikuti sebuah ritual pembersihan yang akan mengakhiri badai kematian yang sedang melanda seluruh daratan Eropa ini. Behmen dan Felson tak sendiri. Ada seorang pendeta bernama Debelzaq (Stephen Campbell Moore), seorang prajurit bernama Eckhardt (Ulrich Thomsen, seorang penipu bernama Hagamar (Stephen Graham), dan seorang pemuda bernama Kay (Robert Sheehan). Tak satu pun dari mereka yang sadar seberapa besar bahaya yang bakal mereka hadapi dalam perjalanan membawa Anna ke biara terpencil itu. Dan tak seorang pun yang tahu siapa sebenarnya Anna.

Review
From the title and poster can be used only guess if this movie is a movie that does not require thinking too deep. You can enjoy the action matches his actors without having to mess around with the plot and so forth. The impression was so lost when a movie called Faster is starting to move forward. Looks like the director tried to make this film a more 'serious'.

To be sure George Tillman, Jr.. believed to be a director trying to make this film more than just action movies. Tillman tried to make the three main characters in this film becomes more than just a two-dimensional character like in most action movies. Unfortunately, this trick is less effective and feels nothing more than just showing off the scene. Unfortunately this even be a problem because the tempo was a little slow.

Slow obviously contrary to the mission stated in its title the film, Faster. Regardless, the decision not to give too much dialogue is appropriate. At least, Dwayne Johnson can more effectively portray characters full of cold revenge in this movie. Billy Bob Thornton was playing well, so also with Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

Bukan hanya itu, Driver juga harus merelakan saudaranya mati dalam perampokan maut itu.

Sepuluh tahun lewat sudah dan kini Driver telah bebas. Tapi Driver tak bisa melenggang begitu saja. Ia punya tugas. Sepuluh tahun ia memupuk dendam pada orang-orang yang bakal merasakan pembalasannya dan kini ia harus menyelesaikan tugas yang telah tertunda selama satu dasawarsa ini. Meski Driver sudah merancang semuanya, masih saja ada yang luput dari perkiraan Driver.

Ada dua orang ternyata masih memburu Driver. Yang satu adalah seorang polisi yang hanya punya waktu dua hari lagi sebelum pensiun sementara satunya adalah seorang pembunuh yang tergila-gila pada seni membunuh. Saat Driver harus menjalankan tugasnya sembari berusaha menghindar dari dua orang yang memburunya ini, Driver sadar kalau selama ini ternyata daftar yang ia susun belum lengkap. Masih ada tugas yang harus diselesaikan Driver.

Review
Dari judul dan poster digunakan saja bisa ditebak kalau film ini adalah film yang tak memerlukan pemikiran terlalu dalam. Anda bisa menikmati aksi laga para aktornya tanpa harus dipusingkan dengan plot dan lain sebagainya. Kesan itu jadi hilang saat film berjudul FASTER ini mulai bergerak maju. Sepertinya sang sutradara berusaha untuk membuat film ini jadi lebih 'serius'.

Yang pasti George Tillman, Jr. yang dipercaya jadi sutradara mencoba membuat film ini lebih dari sekedar film action. Tillman mencoba membuat tiga karakter utama dalam film ini menjadi lebih dari sekedar karakter dua dimensi seperti pada kebanyakan film laga. Sayangnya, trik ini kurang efektif dan terasa tak lebih dari sekedar pamer adegan. Celakanya ini malah jadi masalah karena tempo jadi sedikit lamban.

Lamban jelas sudah bertentangan dengan misi film yang tercantum pada judulnya, FASTER. Terlepas dari itu, keputusan untuk tidak memberikan terlalu banyak dialog memang tepat. Paling tidak, Dwayne Johnson bisa lebih efektif memerankan karakter dingin penuh dendam dalam film ini. Billy Bob Thornton pun bermain dengan baik, begitu juga dengan Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

Sam yang hadir dalam sebuah Grid atau dunia digital video game sebagai pengguna dan bukan sebagai program membuatnya menjadi musuh bersama di dunia ciptaan ayahnya tersebut. Tokoh utama Swan Lake harus mampu memerankan karakter yang lugu dan anggun namun sekaligus sensual. Nina mampu memerankan karakter yang lugu tapi saat harus tampil sensual, Lily sepertinya lebih pas. Karena tak ingin kesempatan ini diambil oleh Lily, Nina pun berusaha dengan segala cara untuk menggali sisi gelap dirinya yang tak pernah tersentuh.

Celakanya saat sisi gelap itu mulai muncul, Nina juga mulai menghadapi kesulitan mengendalikan sisi gelap ini.

The life that previously seemed so perfect all of a sudden get messy when John Brennan (Russell Crowe) must face the big shocks in the family. Laura (Elizabeth Banks), wife of John, was accused of a crime which he never did. John lives in an instant change and only love that could solve everything.

John did not want to give up even though he had to divide their time between being a lecturer, caring for their children while looking for ways to prove that she was innocent. While John was taking all the way but she still proved guilty and should serve their sentence. At this critical time, Laura would have a tendency to commit suicide and is increasingly made John nervous.

Now John is increasingly limited options. He can not let her in jail but he had traveled all the way and the results are still not there. The only way left is to design a scenario to run her out of jail. Succeed or fail, the plan still will destroy everything that had he had but at this point John seems to have no care anymore.

Review
On paper, THE NEXT THREE DAYS is indeed quite promising. The basic idea is strong enough to make a movie thriller. An ordinary man, because of his love, trying to free his wife who was languishing in prison because of charges of murder that he never did. Of course 'early victory' is not a guarantee that THE NEXT THREE DAYS would be a good film. There are several factors that still must be considered.

The first problem faced by this film is a translation of the basic idea was to be a good storyline without losing tensinya. One cause of the failure of the story plot of this movie is offered too many elements of chance. In certain cases the element of chance can still be tolerated as long as he has less effect on main routes. Unfortunately the film is precisely this element of chance inherent strength in the major groove.

The second problem is the casting error. We all obviously already know the quality of acting Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks. Elizabeth Banks did not really become a problem. He could portray her character well. That little wedge is probably the Russell Crowe. Although there's nothing wrong with Crowe's acting but she seems not quite fit the figure portray ordinary guy who tries hard to do everything to free his wife. I do not know why but it seems far more reasonable Crowe plays antagonist as in BODY OF LIE.

John tak mau menyerah meskipun ia harus membagi waktu antara menjadi dosen, merawat anak mereka sekaligus mencari cara untuk membuktikan bahwa Laura tak bersalah. Walaupun John sudah menempuh segala cara namun Laura tetap saja terbukti bersalah dan harus menjalani masa hukuman. Di saat kritis ini, Laura jadi punya tendensi untuk bunuh diri dan ini makin membuat John resah.

Kini pilihan John semakin terbatas. Ia tak mungkin membiarkan istrinya mendekam dalam penjara namun segala cara sudah ia tempuh dan hasilnya tetap tak ada. Satu-satunya cara yang tersisa adalah dengan merancang skenario untuk melarikan Laura dari penjara. Berhasil atau gagal, rencana ini tetap saja akan menghancurkan segala yang telah ia miliki namun di titik ini John sepertinya sudah tak peduli lagi.

Review
Di atas kertas, THE NEXT THREE DAYS ini memang cukup menjanjikan. Ide dasarnya cukup kuat untuk dibuat sebuah film thriller. Seorang pria biasa, karena cintanya, mencoba untuk membebaskan istrinya yang sedang mendekam di dalam penjara karena tuduhan pembunuhan yang tak pernah ia lakukan. Tentu saja 'kemenangan awal' ini bukan jaminan bahwa THE NEXT THREE DAYS bakal jadi film yang bagus. Ada beberapa faktor yang masih harus dipertimbangkan.

Masalah pertama yang dihadapi film ini adalah penjabaran dari ide dasar tadi menjadi sebuah alur cerita yang bagus tanpa kehilangan tensinya. Salah satu penyebab gagalnya alur kisah yang ditawarkan film ini adalah terlalu banyaknya unsur kebetulan. Dalam kasus tertentu unsur kebetulan ini masih bisa ditolerir selama ia tidak berpengaruh banyak pada alur utama. Celakanya dalam film ini justru unsur kebetulan ini yang melekat kuat di alur utama.

Masalah kedua adalah kesalahan casting. Kita semua jelas sudah tahu kualitas akting Russell Crowe dan Elizabeth Banks. Elizabeth Banks memang tak terlalu jadi masalah. Ia bisa memerankan karakter Laura dengan baik. Yang sedikit mengganjal mungkin adalah Russell Crowe. Walaupun tak ada yang salah dengan akting Crowe namun sepertinya ia kurang pas memerankan sosok pria biasa yang berusaha keras melakukan segalanya untuk membebaskan istrinya. Entah kenapa namun sepertinya Crowe jauh lebih pantas memerankan tokoh antagonis seperti dalam BODY OF LIE.

Year 2707, all the earth's resources have been consumed by humans and power in the hands of four big companies control the entire world. The four companies are always at war with each other to fight over territory.
In a war, accidentally by soldiers from the larger firm to open an actual seal lock The Machine is planning to turn all humans into mutant. The Machine came from outer space with the same purpose earlier centuries but was defeated and locked.

Akhirnya Brother Samuel (Ron Perlman), pemimpin aliran kepercayaan yang mengetahui seluk beluk manusia mutant menawarkan sebuah misi penghancuran mesin pembuat mutant. Brother Samuel mengumpulkan beberapa tentara untuk menjalankan misi tersebut. Namun dalam perjalanan penyerangan, pesawat mereka ditembaki sehingga jatuh. Seluruh anggota misi tewas dan Samuel berhasil ditangkap dan akhirnya ikut berubah menjadi mutant.
